Meeting birth with readiness isn’t about memorizing a method or chanting a mantra. Our classes are for all birth plans and all birth settings, designed to prepare and empower you to give birth your way, on your terms.
With a comprehensive curriculum that offers detailed explanations and engaging graphics, our group classes are interactive, hands-on, informative and FUN. Written and taught by a licensed midwife with decades of experience, the Roots Childbirth curriculum has already helped prepare over 2000 families in middle TN on their childbirth journeys. Group classes are capped at 6 couples per session (and fill up fast). Each class is a 2 week segment (4 hours each class). Our private one-on-one classes are comprehensive and specific to the needs of each couple. In most cases we can complete a class in one day but some families/couples prefer to split the class into 2 days which is also fine. Private classes are flexible and designed to fit your busy schedule and unique situation.
