Postpartum Recovery

The postpartum period is a time of both emotional and physical transition.

While it’s common to focus on the baby, your body is also recovering from months of change and the intensity of birth. Healing takes time, and it’s normal to experience a range of physical sensations as your body begins to adjust.

You may notice fatigue, soreness, bleeding, hormonal shifts, and changes in your mood or energy levels. These are all part of the body’s natural recovery process as it works to return to a new normal.

This is a time to slow down, rest as much as possible, and accept support when it’s offered. Nourishment, hydration, and gentle care for your body can make a meaningful difference in your recovery.

Just as you prepared for birth, preparing for postpartum support is one of the most important things you can do for yourself and your family.
